Andreas Bergen studierte ab 1991 Informatik an der Universität Stuttgart und erlangte 1996 den Abschluss als Diplom Informatiker. Ab 1997 absolvierte er ein Studium der Theologie an der Freien Theologischen Akademie (FTA, heute FTH) in Gießen und erlangte 2001 dort den Abschluss als Master of Arts in Biblical Studies der University of Gloucestershire, England.
Aktuell arbeitet er als IT-Security-Architekt bei der All for One Group AG in Filderstadt. Parallel war und ist er seit langem ehrenamtlich tätig als Kirchen- und Lobpreismusiker, sowie als Hauskreisleiter und Prediger. Seit 2019 ist Andreas Bergen Dozent für Systematische Theologie an der TAS.
