Pater Dr. Karl Wallner, geboren 1963 in Wien, Zisterzienser des Stiftes Heiligenkreuz, wo er von 1999 bis 2017 Jugendseelsorger war. Er leitete von 1999 bis 2019 die Hochschule Heiligenkreuz, ist weiterhin Professor für Dogmatik und Sakramententheologie und hat zahlreiche Bücher verfasst. Vielen ist er durch die Medien be- kannt, wo er auf humorvolle Weise den katholischen Glauben bewirbt. 2016 wurde er von Papst Franziskus zum „Nationaldirektor der Päpstlichen Missionswerke“ in Österreich („Missio Österreich“) ernannt. Sein Herz brennt für die Mission: für die Weltkirche, aber auch für Österreich!
