Helena Vernholm is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of practical experience of business and investment strategy with a large focus on strategic business development, real estate investments and city development projects.
Helena has a multicultural background and was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, but also has family in Tanzania. Helena lived for over ten years in Australia where she initially for a couple of years in Hobart and then moved to Sydney. Helena has international experience including several senior managerial and executive positions in computer science, marketing, human resources, banking and the financial sector in both Sweden, Denmark and Australia. Today she lives with her husband Thomas Vernholm in Algarve, Portugal. Helena has always had a strong desire to 'give back' to society and create positive changes in the world around her, providing venture philanthropy solutions and opportunities to investors and philanthropists including both grant funding and social impact investments.
